Shirley

Shirley came to us on 3/1/2010 about a 1 1/2 on the Henneke scale. She is currently in rehab trying to get her weight back on her. Shirley is a 23 year old TB mare that is super gentle. I was told that she is really gentle and safe for kids to ride. Being around her I can beleive that she is. she is a super nice horse to be around. Shirley will be up for adoption as soon as she is healthy again.

Lavern

Lavern is another super sweet mare. She is not as in bad of shape as Shirley. I would say maybe a 2 1/2 on the Henneke scale. She is 8 years old and a OTTB so she is only track broke. I was told she had not been ridden for awhile. When she is feeling better we will have our rider get on her and see how she does. When I go out to groom her she will put her head on my shoulder like she is hugging me saying Thank You! She can put you into tears because you can just feel her emotions. This girl will make a wonderful life partner for someone.
